lets first see if Naruto The last novel is more canon or that movie . my previous post , I briefly talked about Rishimotos involvement in Naruto the last . How he was the one who decided the 2 year timeskip supervise the script and made the screenplay writer , Maruo - san , re write few scenes from the script with his already busy serialization schedule and made them write a few lines . Notice how Kishimoto’s involvement is limited till the point of the script written by Maruo-san.

This script was turned into a novel by the scriptwriter , Maruo - san himself , by adding a few descriptions and all . This means that all of Kishimoto’s involvement is included in the novel since he was involved with the script. SP were to animate the movie according to the script but added a few scenes on their own.

In conclusion , the novel is more canon than the movie . Each and every one of Kishimotos involvement is included in the novel. The movie is like the Naruto anime, the parts included in the novel are canon since that is what kishimoto supervised, but the parts added by SP themselves are to be considered fillers. False claims made by Hinata fans on Rishis involvement for The Last and the movie being more canon . - Some lines that Kishi added didn’t appear in the novel , only the movie . The Toneri vs Naruto fight and the Hinata transfering “Hamuras Chakra” to Naruto in the end was added by Kishi. Kishi mostly contributed in the end of the movie. (Wrong, zero proof provided. The director Kobayashi, clearly stated that Kishi didnt have much time with his already busy serialization schedule, just because Kishi added a line which appeared in the end, doesn’t mean that Kishi wrote the whole scene if this was the case, Kobayashi wouldve clearly mentioned it. • Now let’s come onto the Hamuras Chakra part: In the movie , the Hamuras Chakra was mentioned when Toneri absorbed Narutos chakra and Hinata refilled his reserves using Hamura’s chakra . This scene NEVER happened in the novel , which is the real canon . This is scene SP added on their own . Hinata fans also argue how Hinatas chakra appearing purple “ is proof that she had the Hamura’s chakra . In the novel where everything is described in detail her chakra was never stated to be purple . Also , changing the color of chakra is SPs animation style , they ’ve done it many times previously .

1. False claims made by Hinata fans on the basis the she has the Hamuras Chakra. Hinata got the Hamuras Chakra from this chakră is being continuosly reğenerated. (Already explained this. Hinata fans are able to provide zero proof for this) - Since Hinata has Hamuras Chakra, her strength is equal to Narutos and Sasukes strength. Do T really have to say anything about this. Hinata has never been shown to use the Hamuras Chakra except for in the movie (a filler part). Hinata and Naruto levitating at the end of Naruto the last before the kiss was because of Hinata’s Hamuras thakra. - Hamura and -> (So basicallly, Hinata canand flynow… The reason they rose this high was becausespouting of the force created by narutos rasengan. The reason they appeared to remian still was basically just for a second).

Hamurais chakra flows wibw me too . Even if we go only by the movie , Hinata says this in a context which shows how the Hamuras Chakra is something she inherited being from the hyuga clan since the hyuga are direct descendants of hamura , this means that the Hamura’s Chakra has always been within Hinata and so it doesn’t give her any new powers . Again , this is only if we look at the movie and completely ignore the novel . Hinata never received this chakra from Hamura as Hinata fans like to say . This was never stated or implied anywhere . If this were true , id mean that Toneri had also received hamura’s chakra from Hamura himself but if that were the case , he would’ve never been blinded by the false decree. Hinata fans also use a databook page released with chapter 44 to say how Hinata has hamura’s chakra.” shown , it only talks about Boruto’s bloodline and not Hinata’s power . Momoshiki also talks about only Borutos bloodline .

Not a single thing they said was true no interview or statement from Kishimoto every said nor implied any of the things they stated. They are just making up what they want from Kishimoto and saying he said or did this when in fact he never did. They make up stuff to justify what they want, but that is it, it is all make believe on their part with no actual evidence they simply pulled all this BS out of nowhere.

Here is an official interview Kishimoto did for Naruto the last, which completely contradicts everything they were saying. Kishimoto was largely involved in the last as chief supervisor even bringing in parts from his own love life for the story. He talks all about his involvement and what he thought of it and that he is happy Naruto and Hinata ended up together. The story and character designs were done by Kishimoto.

There has never been a statement of Kishimoto saying he did not want NaruHina or that he asked for permission to redo all of the Naruto manga or fix anything. The man finished Naruto on his terms and was nothing, but happy about it so stop making it up and saying he needs to fix Naruto just cause you aren’t happy about who he decided to have end up with Naruto.

Even the making of the movie was somthing that only happend after Kishimoto ended the manga with Naruto and Hinata married and with kids. The movie was called chapter 699.5 cause it shows how the two got together between chapter 699 and 700. He even draw a manga-omake chapter ‘After The Last’ where Naruto and Hinata are on a date. Why would he draw that if he did not want and approval of NaruHina.They do have the manga logo though it depends on what version of the dvd they are and that is not what decides what is canon or not. What decides what is canon are the ones Kishimoto work on and confirmed they are in the canon timeline. Road to ninja isn’t canon, but the last is cause it tells events that fit with the timeline of the series.I’ll throw you a bone here”

Ok I’ve seen a lot of particular arguments lately that actually……….aren’t really good arguments because even if you DID get your way by applying certain rules to a character, you can’t just use it exclusively for that character or ship and expect people to not use it against you. Like such:

“Hinata wasn’t “chosen” by a god because The Last isn’t canon”

Ok. I’ll throw you a bone here and say yeah The Last MOVIE isn’t canon.

But that’s not the only component to The Last:People forget that its a novel as well. Every aspect of the story in the movie is in this novel with art by Kishimoto. But how does this effect the ones who created this argument?Because the same people who claim this argument also uses novels to pad their own pro arguments. Now there’s literally no difference in the two other than being from the POV of different characters and stories. So you want to discredit The Last? Then you have to discredit Sakura opening a clinic and Sasuke ever thinking about her on the road. You can’t discredit one thing and then flip it to suit your own agenda without sounding like a fucking hypocrite.

Ok how do people not realize how toxic this is to their argument????? Like do you really think that this rule would apply to Sakura exclusively if you use it with no actual feats to back it up? But here, I’ll throw you a bone and say this does validate the notion that Sakura surpassed Tsunade

But then, we can apply it to Hinata: The Databook

Being held as “not being inferior to Neji” or even the implication that as of 633, she got stronger than she was before in terms of 64 palms and combining them with her lions

Here say:

You have the implication (from a Kage level jounin btw) that Hinata is strong enough to fight as a comrade and watch Neji’s back in battle without being a burden, on the contrary:

She’s able to fully take over for Neji at a point.

Now with the final thing about being strong by association with team mates/masters. As I said above with YOUR logic, there is a strong link between Hinata’s power and Neji’s power

And you remember who Neji rivaled?

And who his fucking master was and what he did?

Vs what Tsunade did against Madara WITH the help of the other kage:

And mind you, Might Gai fought and beat Madara when he was even more powerful than what Tsunade AND Hashirama fought, yes Madara was more powerful than what Hashirama, the GOD of shinobi fought back in his day when he got his ass beat by Might Gai. That’s where we are folks.

And this isn’t even limited to Hinata, do you know how many fucking levels and character reputations can be skewed if we’re going with here-say, obscure databook quotes and association?????

Far too many without looking at the feats of the character themselves.

“Sakura surpassed Tsunade because she mastered her jutsus at 16!”

But…………

Tsunade created her jutsus. She didn’t just study them like Sakura did. And creating jutsus is a much bigger feat no matter the age.

Especially when you have nothing to fall back on simply because you couldn’t do it like how Tsunade couldn’t (and still can’t) perform Hashirama’s medical ninjutsu so she created other ways from scratch.

But ok, I’ll throw you a bone and say that Sakura learning all of Tsuande’s medical ninjutsu at a younger age is somehow noteworthy. So lets see how this works with other characters:

Tobirama called it “copying” when applied to Naruto and Minato

Because that’s all it is, copying especially when you’re not doing anything special with said jutsu or changing it in any way.

This isn’t revolutionary

If all you have to boost a character’s rep is dependent on other characters that have done better things without feats like this:

Then its not something to brag about.
